The Seattle Seahawks satisfied their thirst for a legitimate No. 1 receiver by luring Sidney Rice away from Minnesota in free agency, signing him to five-year, $41 million deal, including $18.5 million in guaranteed money.

And through the first week of training camp, Rice has proved he's worth the money, making one spectacular catch after another to the delight of Seattle head coach Pete Carroll.

"Sidney obviously is just crazy competitive about the football, he just can go after everything," Carroll said. "He's already made a half-dozen circus catches in just a few days, so it's going to be really exciting to watch him and see what he brings. It's going to be really cool."
